Today, many companies consider Europe their home market. Normally, expansion is a combination of organic growth and acquisitions. In traditional branches, it is often difficult to make the usual inroads without having to buy important actors on the local market.
Even though most of the actors know most of the “players” in their branch, we are often able to identify new companies or parts of companies that could be interesting and of which a branch actor was unaware.
Further, some obvious acquisition targets have been sorted out because they are considered unapproachable and/or unfeasible. At times, we have detected a radical change in a situation, which suddenly opens up all types of possibilities.
